Holy shit! THis was great! The characters were well designed, and the story that unfolded was super well done. The art of the whole thing was pretty good, but I would have liked to see you put a little more depth into them and this includes the animation. I know that this was just a test, but there is some serious potential in this project if you fleshed out the animation and characters more. What I mean when I say this is that some of the animation it was hard to tell what was going on, so maybe add another shade of red and a couple more keyframes in between so it doesn't go by so fast. With that said, this movie was a lot of fun to watch and you executed the action very well! I enjoyed this little toon quite a bit and hope to see more from you soon in the portal.

Wow! This animation was superb! It had a powerful message and was delivered in such a unique way. It makes me want to know more about these characters and what goes on in their lives. The title is very well suited and when the mother appears it felt as though the atmosphere of the morning had become warm.

As for the animation, it was excellent. It was smooth and flowed very well with the sounds. Speaking of which, they were crystal clear (as well as the imagery, lol). There's not a whole lot more that I could say about this piece except that I wish there was more, but what you had here was absolutely great! I hope to see more from you in the portal soon!

Thanks! Yes, I was definitely trying to put these contrasting emotions like warm and cold together to show change in character.

THis was great! THe idea was decent and the animation was well executed. I liked the simplicity of it. Your character design was great and must have made animating quite fun. The sounds were a nice touch to this movie too; it wouldn't be much without the sound effects. Overall this tied really together and I like the ending you implemented with the Pharaoh's hat. Had me chuckle! Look forward to seeing more of your work!

Thank you!

Wow! That was great! The animation was choppy here and there, but otherwise extremely fluid! It flowed so well with the soundtrack you used. I especially liked the Casino scene. The background was great and the way you made the casino letters look set a perfect atmosphere, good touch. Though it was simple, and to be honest a little hard to follow, I thought you executed the perfect "stick fights" kind of movie. Awesome job, you've convinced me to follow you.

Thanks dude, your awesome I apprecite it.

This was fantastic! I loved the style of it with the comic boxes! Brilliant idea! That must've been fairly tricky to deal with. I also liked the transition you had from stick to full figure, which the drawing was fantastic by the way. I'm not sure if these characters are based on anything or not, either way sweet job with it! The audio was terrific as well because it was very fast paced and action oriented. You had a good way of illustrating it out! I wish there was a loader however and that the film wouldn't keep repeating itself as I write this review. Another thing that would be nice is a longer movie and maybe some more advancement in the film other than just a fight scene? Great animation and hope to see more from you in the portal soon!

Thank you RamboJesus! I appreciate the 4.5 star rating too! Oh, and these characters are off of a video game from 1997 (Final Fantasy 7). This is my first actual cartoon and my first time playing with Flash, with the help of some online tutorials - not to mention my first time uploading to newgrounds - so if you have any useful tips about newgrounds, I'd be grateful to hear them.

This animation was solid. I got a chuckle out of the fish's final line and that clowns little snickering is fantastic. The tweening was nice and smooth and your characters appeared alive. Nice Halloween flick!

Thank you kind sir, I appreciate your feedback.

Holy cow! The animation was incredible and so was the voice acting! The cloth on Micky looked fantastic and the physics were great. I got a nice chuckle out of it when Micky said "I'll make sure to turn this into a nightmare" This was also a good mix of actual footage mixed with digital and you did a fantastic job with the depth in Mickey, it's as almost he was there! Good stuff.

Thank you! I appreciate your comment.

Holy shit, this was an amazing piece of work. This was flat out art, and it was so goddamn awesome. At first I turned away and wanted to leave the page, but then I noticed the length of this movie and realized that there was a lot more to come. I'm glad I stuck around because this movie was great. I loved how you had a variety of ways in telling the story. I thought it was brilliant! My favorite parts in this were when the doctor (God?) is placing the chemicals in his brain. There was no bullshit there, and you nailed the key emotions (components) of it. My second favorite was when Jack is in class and his notebook comes to life. That style of animation is a lot of fun and a lot of work to do. You pulled it off great and it looked really good. Last, but not least, I really liked the claymation toward the end. The animation was really awesome and the sound effects, character, facial expressions, etc. only added to it. When the phone started vibrating it sounded like it was right in the room! Good fucking job with the great sound quality. I thought this movie was great piece of art and it told a great story of unfortunate events. You really went all out with this and it worked out brilliantly. Those sets, characters, animations, and shots were epic, just like this movie. My hats off to you good sir for having such an awesome piece of art/film here. 5/5 - 5/5, all around. Fucking awesome.

Thanks so much for the indepth and kind review :)
I'm glad you liked it!

Holy shit, this animation was amazing! There was so much detail in the pictures and it looked GREAT. The final shot of the guy smoking the cigarette was great! It gave me a sense of being on break at a job. It was so badass. I very much like the shot before that of the soldier inside of the humvee simply because of the detail in the rotating bolts. The action in this was very fast paced and this made made the movie to watch. Although war isn't supposed to be entertaining, it is still interesting to observe. You beautifully portrayed "war footage" with the use of Photoshop and Flash, which is so awesome to see the two programs work together like this. I liked this movie a lot as it shows the power of both programs and what you can do with the two of them. It's fucking genius and you sir, have a spectacular movie here.

KillahKai responds:

Hi RAMBOJ3SUS!
WOW Thanks for all the wonderful words and praise!
I'm glad you liked the "guy smoking" scene at the end, it's probably my favorite scene hehe! Just like you said; break at the job... then big explosion close by... back to work I guess hehe!
I don't know if people combine photoshop and flash too much, but I hope this inspire some people to try it out. The only negative thing I can say about this combination is that flash can get a little bit slow at times.
Thanks again and I'm glad you enjoyed my movie!

Awesome! This animation was really trippy! I very much enjoyed this animation. It was a great combination of frame by frame and tweening. My favorite points in this movie were the blue guy with the color (in the icon), the yellow rings with the pink background and last, but not least the grass toward the end (zooming out). Those shots were fantastic, and I loved the depth and dimension they portrayed. It looked really well done and it made the movie very fun to watch. Now what if you took a small story and told it out through this kind of animation? It would be really interesting to watch the story unfold through a sequence of different styles of animation like you present in this movie. This was still a really good movie even though it lacked a story (didn't take away from it though) and from this you've gained a fan. Kick ass stuff.
